Chapter Summary

The New Paradise and its river of the water of life. The last exhortation of Christ to be ready for His second coming.

What symbolism does the 12 kinds of fruit have? Why is it significant that they yield fruit every month?
What does verse 4 and 5 say about the servants of God? How does this affect the way we should live and carry out Gods will?
How can we be motivated by verse 7? Is it also important to not only make your relationship with God right but also share it with others? How does this verse catalyze this?
In verse 8 John tells us he’s the one who heard these things. How is the retelling of events any different than Mohamed from Islam or Joseph Smith from Mormonism?
How can verse 9 give us a look at what the attitude in heaven may be when we get there?
What is being conveyed in verse 11? Is this a philosophy we should use in our lives?
How does Jesus’ words in verse 13 bring us certainty and comfort?
Why does verse 14 use the word “wash” and something like “Blessed are those who have perfectly clean robes”?
How does verses 18 and 19 speak to Mormonism? Can Mormons be saved?
With Jesus saying he is coming soon in verse 20 does this suggest that the tribulation already happened or is it still yet to happen?
