  1. How does the world act towards God? How would you describe their actions? Consider verse 1-4 and Lamentations 1:10.

  3. The Psalmist uses words such as "taunt", "mocked", and "derided" to express how the nations have treated him and God's people. What words would you use to describe how the world treats you? How do you feel knowing you are not the only one who has felt this way?
  4. When have you asked the Lord, "how long"? What has prompted you to cry out to the Lord in such a way?
  5. Describe a time when you felt the anger of God? Was this anger justified? Explain what brought this feeling of anger to an end?

  7. What sins have you asked the Lord not to hold against you? How is it possible for God not to hold our sins against us?

  9. What does it look like to call upon the Lord? The psalmist describes it as groans. How would you describe your posture before Lord when calling upon Him?
