  1. It appears, based on the last verse, that David is praying for Solomon in this Psalm. What does David ask God to do for Solomon? If you have children, what do you ask God to do for them? If you don't, what things would you like God to do for you?
  2. Solomon is considered to be the wisest man to live outside of Jesus. How is wisdom reflected in these verse? In what ways did God fulfill these request in the life of Solomon?
  3. Explain what it looks like for God's justice and righteousness to be given to someone?
  4. Describe how Christian defend the cause of the poor and needy. What ministries in your local church assist in defending these groups of people? How can you encourage and pray for them?
  5. What does the Psalmist mean to fear God as long as the sun endures and the moon through all generations in verse 5? In what ways do you model this fear in your daily walk with the Lord?
