  1. Psalm 33:1, "Shout for joy in the LORD, O you righteous! Praise befits the upright." (ESV) What do you think the Psalmist means by "befits"? What does it mean to be "upright"? How is praise a marker for the upright?
  2. Psalm 33:3, "Sing to him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts." (ESV) Why do you think this Psalm calls upon a new song? What heart posture would this bring about to the one worshiping?
