  1. Why does the Psalmist say "Save, O LORD"(ESV) in v.1? Read the rest of the Psalm again, what is the context for this request?
  2. Have you felt alone in a situation where you felt like you were the only one doing right? Or the only one who was acting like a Christian? What did you learn from that experience?
  3. What is the Psalmist request of the Lord due to the wickedness around him? What are the ways wickedness is described in this Psalm? How would you describe wickedness?
  4. How does this Psalm encourage us to live upright and truthful lives?
  5. Who was this Psalm written for? What group of people does it encourage? How can this inform the way we could use this Psalm in our lives?
  6. In your own words, how is the Lord described in this Psalm? What are some verses that lead you to that opinion? With that opinion, compare and contrast that to your description of wickedness from question 3, what stands out to you?
  7. Can you think of a modern day example of this Psalm? How would your description of Gods inform the way you are to think about it?
  8. V. 8 says "vileness is exalted among the children of man" (ESV), where do you see "vileness" exalted today?
