V.29-30 seems to show God as the one who gives life and takes away life. How does it feel that God takes away life? Isn't God supposed to be a life giver? Why would He take away life?

Jesus had rebuked the winds and waves during His ministry, so one can put together that He had some power over creation. What scriptures also point to Jesus's agency in creation?
