- What stories from the Bible do you think about when you read verse 2? What stories from your own life do you think about?
- Why is flattery like setting a trap? How have you been "trapped" by flattery?
- How would a righteous person know the rights of the poor? Where were those rights given? Do we provide for those rights as a society today? Why or why not?
- Is it wrong to ever be angry? Why or why not? Remember to use Scripture to make your case.
- The same God that made the eyes of the poor also made the eyes of the rich. What else is similar between these two groups? Why do you think verse 13 focuses on eyes?
