  1. Why do you think that almost every proverb uses masculine words and pronouns, but verse 1 uses feminine language? What significance does this small change make to the proverb?
  2. Why would a person who lives with integrity fear the Lord? How does our love for Jesus and His sacrifice influence our choices? Is being obedient to the Lord's commands legalism or works righteousness? Why or why not?
  3. In verse 10, it talks about the inward emotions we feel. How can we deal with emotional struggles and find support from others? Who are some people in your life that you are able to confide in during times of need?
  4. Why do you think that a path that seems right might lead to death (verse 12, CSB)? If it seems right, what makes it wrong? How can we stay on the truly right path?
  5. Have you experienced what verse 13 describes? What steps can you take to know when your friends are struggling? How can you care for them?
  6. What do you think the word "plan" in verse 22 (CSB) implies? How is this different from just doing good or evil?
