  1. How can we discern false teachings and remain grounded in the truth of the Gospel? Why do people get caught up with false teachers?
  2. Paul has a long list of things he could be proud of, but he considers it all a loss because of Christ. What could you be proud of? Why?
  3. Compared to knowing Christ, everything else should be considered dung. What are you still holding on to? What attractions or anxieties are preventing you from letting go?
  4. Read Galatians 2:21. Why is it so important to ensure that our righteousness comes from faith and not works?
  5. What does it mean to be "conformed to his death" (verse 10, CSB)? How can we conform to Christ's death today?
  6. Reflect on verse 13. What have you left behind in pursuit of Christ? Have you left behind anything? What do you need to leave behind today?
  7. What are some attitudes or behaviors that enemies of the cross have? How can we guard against them while also being Christ-like to those who are against us?
