  3. What does it mean in verse 9 that God "rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you?"
  4. What biblical passage in Exodus is verse 6 referring to? Why do you think the author called back to it? What would it have meant to the Israelites who heard it? How can reflecting on scripture help us grow in Christ?
  5. We see that the sins of the Israelites negatively affected their children (v.6-7). How do our actions affect our families, especially our children? Be specific in your answers.
