Why is there so much power in focusing our heart and our thoughts? Why does it say in Scripture that we will find God when we seek Him with all of our heart? Why does Christ say that the pure in heart shall see God? How has the power of focusing been important in your life?
  2. What is meant by God's call for Jeremiah to pray in Jeremiah 33:3? This verse has been called God's telephone # "Jeremiah 33:3." Was the promise to answer his prayer meant for Jeremiah only? What are some New Testament promises that say we can come to God at anytime in prayer and that He will answer?
  3. Why was it pointless for the people of Jerusalem and the kings of Judah to fight against the Chaldeans?
