- Verse 2 says that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established. How shall this come to pass? How is it to be established?
- Why does being established "as the highest mountain" (vs. 2, ESV) hold weight for the people in this context? What would they associate with being the highest mountain? Why would this be significant to them?
- How will God's judgment change Judah?
- Why does God redeem Judah? What role does Judah play in God's unfolding story of redemption?
- What is Isaiah giving the people in verses 1-5? Do you see Isaiah's message here as a word of hope? Briefly explain your response.
