Discussion Questions for Acts, Chapter 3

  1. Even though the disciples entered the New Covenant age, they continued to go to the Temple each day. Why? What do you think God was teaching the church and the people of Israel during these days?
  2. What did the lame man expect from Peter and John? What did he receive instead? How does the gospel expand the mind and heart?
  3. The people gathered in amazement and awe. As Peter attributed the miracle to God, what names of God did he use to emphasize his point? What separates a Jew's view of God from a follower of Jesus Christ?
  4. Peter gives what reason for the nation's rejection of the Christ? What did God do to demonstrate his trustworthiness? How did God use the prophets to serve his greater purpose?
